Wow its been way to long...My knitting journey just gets better and better..Along the way this year I have met some amazing knitters...I started my own in home knitting business..I teach on Mondays and have met many knew woman...I am always on Ravelry and I am up on all the new yarns, gadgets, patterns, and accessories...Becoming so obsessive about knitting,that I dream about opening my own shop. its in the early stages now,but I have been collecting information to start my own business in the near future...Its so weird because every night I dream about where the shop is and how it looks inside,to bookshelves , yarns I will carry ,to even the furniture that will be in my shop....So many people have told me that I would be great at it I get the feeling I already know that....I always believe we need to make our dreams come true to be happy...

Wow!!!!!! What can I say I haven't blogged in such a long time,they have changed the format here...I have been knitting for over seven years now and I've come a long way baby...In the past 2 years I have been teaching at my local yarn store and working there too on Sundays...My knitting has taken a new level and Im all over the internet and finding new patterns everyday...I have also found many great web stores along the way too. Ravelry has become my go to place for everything knitting...Over the past few years I have made so many friends and have met many knitters along the way,that there's too many to mention...I just cant knit one sweater at one time I seem to be knitting many projects at once...Many new gadgets have come on the market and new knitting bags and accessories, and I probably have them all... Going to start blogging again......

Just completed a really fun sweater from Interweave Knits Spring issue,The Whisper Cardigan. I used 2 skeins of Malabrigo Sock Yarn in eggplant. Love Love this pattern.So many new projects on my Addi Click Needles. February Lady Sweater, Liesl, and a really cute tank top from Imagine Knit Design.

Rhinebeck

Went to Rhinebeck today and purchased some goodies. The weather was crisp and the Fall foliage was in full bloom. Briar Rose Fibers had some fabulous yarn...Purchased 1000 yds of Blue leicester bulky yarn. Went to Decadent Fibers and bought 1500 yards of Creme Brulee..

Well ive become addicted again to a new Kal Goddess Mystery Shawl and every week u are given a new clue. Well my friend Susan Cahn cowner of my local knitting store here in Westfield New Jersey http://www.knit-a-bit.com/ has decidd to join me on this little KAL and its making her crazy too.... So every Saturday we eagerly wait for our clue and get stressed when it gets to us LOL. Ive posted a picture of it here so u can see how it is coming....

Well my vacation is over. Fred and I got home around 3:00pm and im wiped out.I had the best birthday ever. Paris was so beautiful and it was amazing...London on the other hand was cold and snowy and dreary.... I will never forgot my 50th birthday it was the best....

We are having a wonderful time in London and went to this really quaint knitting store today All Fun at the Fair http://www.allthefunofthefair.biz/, The shop keeper was very sweet...This morning it was snowing in London and in the bitter cold we went to Westminster Abbey. Cant wait to go home on Wednesday I miss my house.....

We arrived in Paris this morning at 7:00 a.m. We had a great flight from Newark last nite. I havent slept since 6:00 am Friday morning. The weather is about 60 degrees and it is just beautiful. Its about 3:15 Paris time and im wide awake. The Ritz Hotel is so beautiful and old world... I just posted some new pics and im ready to crash...

I havent blogged since October. I have just been so busy working and knitting I havent had time. So this Friday Im leaving for Paris for my 50th birthday. Cant wait have been looking forward for this for months. So I am going to blog my trip to Paris. Im knitting a few projects now and I am figuring out which ones to take to Europe with me. I have been admiring Briar Rose Fibers online for a long time and was able tp purchase there yarns at Rhinebeck. Anne Hanson from Knitspot.com was at the booth and was able to help me with the yarn for her TOTALLY AUTUMN pattern from Knitty. Also I bought Sock Yarn from Socks That Rock to make fingerless gloves. So hers the Pics

Went to Rhinebeck to Saturday with my husband and since he said he wanted to drive me. He couldnt believe all these women knit.. Well he was such a good sport and even helped by carrying my shopping bags. I had herd Clara Parkes was going to be there so I bought her new BOOK OF Yarn and she even autographed it for me so heres a picture of her my husband and my self.

I had my first experience at Stitches East and loved it . Took a cable class with Melissa Leapman and a Brioche class with Nancy Marchant. The shopping was great bought a New Bag from Offhand Designs (Zhivago Bag in Martini Pattern) from Dream Weaver Yarns. Also purchased yarn from Tess Yarns , Dancing Leaf yarns, Lisa Sousa, and tons of Patterns .Cant wait for Next Year...
